Judge Sarah K. Mullican was appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court as judge pro tempore in Terre Haute City Court, effective Jan. 1, 2011. She was previously the commissioner for the Title IV-D Court in Terre Haute, which deals with the non-payment of child support.

Judge Mullican takes over for Judge John T. Roach, who was elected to the Vigo Superior Court in November. Judge Roach was sworn in as a Superior Court judge Jan. 1.

Judge Mullican’s appointment will remain in effect until Gov. Mitch Daniels selects a new judge or until further order of the Supreme Court.
