A panel of Indiana Court of Appeals judges will travel to northern Indiana Thursday to hear the appeal of a man convicted of attempted murder.

Judges Nancy Vaidik, Michael Barnes, and Terry Crone will hear Adron Herschel Tancil v. State of Indiana, No. 45A03-1101-CR-10, at 1:30 p.m. CDT at the Lorenzo Arredondo Justice Center in East Chicago. Adron Tancil argues that the trial court erred by denying his request for a new trial, claiming the attack was no more than a battery.
