The Center for Law, Ethics, and Applied Research in Health Information at Indiana University Maurer School of Law has received a $425,000 grant from the Regenstrief Foundation Inc. CLEAR Health Information will use the grant to renovate its space in the IU Innovation Center in Bloomington and to add amenities to its office space in the Health Information and Translational Sciences building on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Renovation plans include installing state-of-the-art video conferencing capabilities, enabling more efficient communication between both offices and with external audiences around the world. The enhanced communication possibilities will help integrate the resources of Indianapolis and Bloomington and allow for closer collaboration between CLEAR Health Information and the Regenstrief Institute, the Indiana Health Information Exchange, and other Indiana partners. Renovations are expected to be completed at both buildings in early 2012.
