The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana welcomed its newest jurist Monday, with Holly Brady scheduled to have been sworn in at 11 a.m.

The former attorney at Haller & Colvin PC in Fort Wayne was confirmed April 10 by the U.S. Senate on a 56-42 vote. She is the first judge to join the court since 2010 and only the second woman to serve in the Northern Indiana District.

According to the Northern Indiana District Court, Brady will have a formal investiture ceremony in August.
