The Indiana Supreme Court has suspended a Fort Wayne lawyer for noncooperation with the disciplinary commission’s investigation of a grievance filed against him.

Robert E. Love was suspended from the practice of law per a Friday order, effective immediately. The order does not specify the nature of the grievance, only that Love failed to respond to the commission’s Feb. 25 order that he show cause why he should not be suspended. The commission followed with a request for ruling and to tax costs on March 12, after Love still had not responded.

Love, who was admitted to practice in 1985 and has at least four prior disciplinary cases, has been suspended and will remain suspended until further order of the court. He must fulfill the duties of a suspended attorney under Admission and Discipline Rule 23(26). Love is also ordered to reimburse the commission $520.90 for the costs of the investigation.

The case is In the Matter of Robert E. Love, 20S-DI-70.
