The Community Development Law Center, which provides free or low-cost legal services only to nonprofit or community organizations serving low-income people in central Indiana, is having its annual fundraising breakfast Oct. 16.

The fundraiser, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Conrad Hotel Indianapolis, 50 W. Washington St., provides an opportunity to learn about, celebrate, and support the work the CDLC does to help revitalize communities and neighborhoods. WRTV 6 News consumer reporter Rafael Sanchez will be the master of ceremonies; Lt. Governor Becky Skillman will be the guest speaker at the event.

Gifts from attorneys, law firms, and companies may be eligible for a 100 percent match under a $25,000 grant from the Lilly Endowment. A complimentary breakfast will be provided.

For more information, contact the CDLC at (317) 921-8806, ext. 21 or Kim Huizinga at [email protected].
