The Indiana State Bar Association is seeking members who want to sit on the Board of Governors. The five districts with current vacancies for the term November 2009 – October 2011 are:

-District 1, Lake County;

-District 4, Allen County;

-District 5, Benton, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Tippecanoe, Warren, and White counties;

-District 10, Adams, Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Huntington, Jay, Madison, Miami, Randolph, Tipton, Wabash, Wayne, and Wells counties;

-District 11, Marion County with two positions available.

Members must send letters of interest and resumes no longer than two pages to Thomas P. Yoder, Chair, ISBA Nominating Committee, Indiana State Bar Association, One Indiana Square, Suite 530, Indianapolis, IN 46204. The information may also be e-mailed to [email protected]. Nominated members face an election at the annual meeting of the Association Assembly to be held in Indianapolis in early November.

The deadline to apply is March 23.
