Indiana Tax Court applicant Richard Hofmann of Noblesville has removed his name from consideration for the upcoming vacancy on the court.

Indiana Supreme Court public information officer Kathryn Dolan said Hofmann e-mailed the Indiana Judicial Qualifications Commission today saying, “Due to personal considerations, I would like to withdraw my application for the tax court vacancy. Please extend my apologies to the Commission for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Hofmann’s withdrawal leaves 14 applicants for Judge Thomas G. Fisher’s position. Judge Fisher will retire at the end of the year.
