The Indiana Supreme Court has rescheduled its interactive drama “Bound for Freedom: The Case of Polly Strong,” which was postponed after a winter storm hit central Indiana earlier this month.

The event re-enacts the 1820 slavery case that set free Polly Strong, who was being held as a slave by a Vincennes businessman. There will be two performances, one at 9 a.m. and one at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 24 in the Indiana Supreme Court courtroom. Students from six schools will participate in re-enacting the case, which is a part of the Courts in the Classroom program. The performances are free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
