Bice Named Department Chair at Bingham McHale

Bingham McHale LLP has named partner Keith Bice as chair of its Business Advisory Department. Bice, at 38-years-old, is the youngest partner ever named to a department chair position in the firm’s nearly 100-year history. In his role as Business Advisory Department Chair, Bice will lead the Department’s attorneys in continually anticipating the needs of each business client, and preparing a course of action to help each client meet those needs. Bice will work to attract, train and develop talented attorneys, as well as broaden the firm’s business client base.

Hutchings Joins Keller Macaluso

Keller Macaluso LLC announced the addition of Nathan L. Hutchings to its team. Hutchings’ practice will focus on all aspects of real estate transactions, as well as business transactions and business litigation. He earned his juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Maurer School of Law, Indiana University – Bloomington in 2009, his M.B.A in real estate, summa cum laude, from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University – Bloomington in 2009, and his B.S. in construction management from Brigham Young University in 2005.

Attorney Volunteers Needed for Ask a Lawyer

Attorneys are needed to assist the public with legal guidance during the Fall 2011 Ask A Lawyer program on Tuesday, October 11. Volunteers are being sought for one of two shifts – 2 to 4 p.m. or 4 to 6 p.m.- at the program’s Brightwood, East Washington, East 38, and Eagle Marion County Library locations. Volunteers are also needed to provide telephone based advice from the IndyBar offices. To volunteer, contact Caren Chopp at [email protected].

Students: Positions Available on IndyBar Law Student Division Board

The IndyBar Law Student Division is seeking three first year students and one second or third year student from Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis as well as one student from either Maurer School of Law-Indiana University, Valparaiso School of Law, or Notre Dame School of Law to sit on their 2011-2012 Executive Board. The Executive Board is charged with planning all Division activities and contributing to the continued development of the IndyBar. Candidates should be interested in honing their leadership and strategic planning skills, as well as being a champion for the IndyBar on their campus.
