Lawmakers to preview legislative session at Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis

Phi Alpha Delta, Hamill Chapter, will host a 2012 legislative preview from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, Inlow Hall, Wynne Courtroom, 530 W. New York St.

Lawmakers scheduled to talk about the upcoming session include Sen. Brandt Hershman, R-Buck Creek; Sen. Greg Taylor, D-Indianapolis; Sen. Tim Lanane, D-Anderson; Rep. Wendy McNamara, R-Indianapolis; and Rep. Mary Ann Sullivan, D-Indianapolis. Lawren Mills, legislative director and policy director for human services for Gov. Mitch Daniels’ office, is also scheduled to attend. Abdul Hakim-Shabazz, former host of the talk radio show, “Abdul in the Mornings,” will be the moderator.

The event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are not required, but appreciated, the event organizers said. RSVPs may be sent via email to [email protected].
