gard The Indiana State Bar Association’s environmental section honored Sen. Beverly Gard, R-Greenfield, at its 2012 legislative perspective CLE event Dec. 8, recognizing her 23 years of leadership on state environmental issues. Gard is retiring after the 2012 legislative session, concluding a legislative career that’s included chairing the Senate Energy & Environmental Affairs Committee since 2005, and chairing the Environmental Affairs Committee from 1999 to 2004 and the Environmental Quality Service Council every other year dating back to the mid-1990s.
