Hear an update on pending legislation and get to know Indiana legislators at the IndyBar’s sixth annual seminar, “The Importance of Lawyer-Legislators in the Indiana General Assembly,” which is hosted by the Bar’s Legislative Committee. Attorneys who are state senators and representatives will lead a lively discussion during the luncheon on Wednesday, February 29, from noon to 1:30 p.m., at the Conrad Indianapolis. A panel of distinguished lawyer-legislators including Rep. Brian Bosma, Rep. Eric Koch, Rep. Ralph Foley, Rep. Jud McMillin, Rep. Matt Pierce, Sen. Tim Lanane, Sen. David Long, Sen. Lonnie Randolph, Sen. Greg Taylor, Sen. Karen Tallian, will be in attendance.

The luncheon will also include recognition of retiring legislators’ service. This event is being offered for 1.5 hours CLE credit. For more information and to register go to www.indybar.org.

Organized this year by the IndyBar’s Legislative Committee, this is the sixth lawyer-legislative luncheon to be offered by the Bar. The Legislative Committee is chaired by Judge Heather Welch of the Marion Superior Court. Members of the committee include Emily Heimann of Barnes & Thornburg, John Render of Hall Render Killian Heath & Lyman, and Mindy Westrick of Faegre Baker Daniels.•
