The home of an attorney at Faegre Baker Daniels in Fort Wayne was shot at Tuesday morning. Police are exploring whether the shooting is connected to an incident last month in a neighboring subdivision in which a Faegre Baker Daniels attorney was shot in his garage.

According to a news release from the Fort Wayne Police Department, a resident of the home woke up to what he thought was the sound of gunfire. The resident found two holes in the rear of his home. No one was injured in the shooting.

Police are looking into whether this shooting is connected to the shooting of David J. Kuker, a partner in Faegre Baker Daniels’ Fort Wayne office. Kuker was injured after he was shot by a stranger in his garage in March. Police say in the news release that as a precautionary measure, there will be police presence at the firm’s office and increased patrol in the area of the shooting. The homes of two firm employees are nearby.

There is no description of the shooter or any suspects at this time.
