Applications are being accepted through June 22 for two bankruptcy judge positions in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

Interested candidates may obtain applications from the Southern District Bankruptcy Court clerk, the U.S. Court of Appeals 7th Circuit clerk, or by accessing the U.S. Court of Appeals website. Applications should be sent to: Circuit Executive Collins T. Fitzpatrick, Judicial Council of the 7th Circuit, 2780 U.S. Courthouse, 219 S. Dearborn St., Chicago, IL 60604.

Bankruptcy Judges Anthony Metz III and Frank J. Otte are retiring this year, creating two openings on the court. Otte will continue to serve as a senior judge. Applicants will be considered for both positions.

The Judicial Council of the 7th Circuit will make recommendations to the U.S. Court of Appeals, which will make the appointments.

The term of office is 14 years and the current salary is $160,080.
