The Indiana General Assembly convenes for the 2013 legislative session today with a new governor, many first-time legislators and a Republican supermajority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Key deadlines for the session include:

Friday, Jan. 11: 4 p.m., deadline for filing Senate bills.
Jan. 14: 2 p.m., deadline for filing House bills.
Feb. 20: Last day for third reading of Senate bills in Senate.
Feb. 25: Last day for third reading of House bills in House.
April 10: Last day for third reading of House bills in the Senate.
April 15: Last day for third reading of Senate bills in House.
April 29: Last day for adjournment of both houses.
