Comparative law scholars to present work at IU McKinney

Nearly 100 comparative law scholars will present their scholarship at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law Thursday and Friday at the second annual Younger Comparativists Committee Conference.

The conference aims to highlight, develop and promote the scholarship of new and younger comparative law scholars. It is sponsored by the American Society of Comparative Law. Several IU McKinney faculty members will participate, including professors George Edwards and Shawn Boyne.

The conference is open to the public and runs from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. For more information, visit the law school’s website.

There will be several panels at the conference examining topics such as global perspectives on corporate government, intellectual property and technological change, and law in the Middle East.  

Conference participants are coming from around the world, including Brazil, Egypt, Nigeria and Taiwan.
