A disbarred sole practitioner from South Bend who was found guilty in September on three counts of forgery will be sentenced Dec. 11 in St. Joseph County.

A grand jury indicted Rodney P. Sniadecki May 3 on three counts of Class C felony forgery. The charges stem from incidents in 2007 and 2008 involving an appearance form, guardianship information form; and income tax return documents.  A jury found him guilty Sept. 25 on all three counts. He faces two to eight years on each count and fines.

Sniadecki was disbarred in 2010 for violating the terms of a previous suspension, entering into an improper business transaction with a client and engaging in dishonest conduct by falsifying loan documents when trying to get a loan to repay the client through mortgages on his law offices.
