Camm, a former Indiana state trooper, was accused of killing the family members in 2000. This is his third trial for murder; his previous convictions have been overturned on appeal.
The jury returned the verdict early Thursday afternoon.
The case has been tried in three counties: originally in Floyd Circuit Court, then Warrick Superior Court, with this latest trial occurring in Boone County.
A special prosecutor had to be appointed for this trial because of a cancelled book deal involving Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson. Henderson planned on writing a book about the case after the second trial, but cancelled his contract in 2009 once a new trial was ordered.
