Applications are now being accepted for three academic scholarships and four educational scholarships from the Indianapolis Bar Foundation (IBF), the charitable arm of the IndyBar. The IBF awards academic and educational scholarships to deserving law students annually as one way of carrying out its mission—to advance justice and lead positive change in Indianapolis through philanthropy, education and service.

The academic scholarships—the Rosalie F. Felton Scholarship, the Neil E. Shook Scholarship and the Honorable S. Hugh Dillin Scholarship—each award the recipient $1,500. The educational scholarships, for the IndyBar’s summer 2014 IndyBar Review course, provide the recipients with $600 toward the course’s tuition. The scholarship deadline for these academic and educational scholarships is April 1, 2014. Information and the application instructions can be found online at indybar.org/about/bar-foundation.

Scholarships will also be available for the winter 2014 IndyBar Review course later in the year. The application period for those two educational scholarships will open on Aug. 1, 2014 with applications due Nov. 1, 2014.•
