Appointments and Elections
 
The Economic Club of Indiana has selected officers for the 2014-2015 season, including John M. Mead of Leeuw Oberlies & Campbell P.C. as secretary/COO. Immediate past-president Deborah Daniels, partner at Krieg DeVault, and Theodore R. Boehm, mediator/arbitrator at Van Winkle Baten, will serve renewed terms of service on the board of governors.
 
The James C. Kimbrough Bar Association has elected officers for the 2014-2015 term. Renee Hatcher, staff attorney at the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, has been elected president; Hon. Gina Jones, judge of Merrillville Town Court, has been elected vice president; Jheremy Perkins, of Spangler Jennings and Dougherty P.C. in Merrillville, has been selected treasurer; and Shalonda Crump, deputy prosecutor in the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office, was selected secretary. The immediate past-president is Derrick Julkes, principal of Derrick Julkes Law Office in Gary.
 
Heidi B. Adair, partner of Beers Mallers Backs & Salin LLP in Fort Wayne, has been elected to serve a two-year term on the Indiana State Bar Association Probate, Trust and Real Property Section Trust & Estate Specialty Board.
