Volunteers Needed for Ask a Lawyer

Both attorneys and paralegals are needed to assist the public with legal guidance during the Spring 2015 Ask A Lawyer program on Tuesday, April 14. Volunteers are being sought for one of two shifts (2 to 4 p.m. or 4 to 6 p.m.) at the library/community center locations throughout the city. To volunteer, contact Caren Chopp at [email protected].

Straight Talk from the Statehouse: Ninth Annual Lawyer-Legislator Program to be Held March 10

Put the law in lawyer at this program! Featuring a roundtable of lawyer-legislators, this event will provide information about and insight into current legislation that will be affecting the practice of law in Indiana. Attendees will get an interesting perspective on the legislation and its future implications from people who are on the frontlines of lawmaking. Don’t miss your chance to hear from more than a dozen lawyer-legislators who are expected to attend! The event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Skyline Club.
