More lawsuits have been filed by Megabus passengers injured when a double-decker bus rolled onto its side in southern Indiana in December.

The bus was traveling from Chicago to Atlanta and carrying 68 passengers when it veered off the road on Interstate 65 in Seymour. Around two dozen people were injured.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported Friday that four passengers filed lawsuits in Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago.

Each suit alleges negligence on the part of the driver, as well as Megabus USA LLC and its parent company, Coach USA Inc.

Sean Hughes is a spokesman for Megabus and its parent company. He says Megabus is aware of the litigation and safety is the company's first priority.

A Georgia woman is also suing the company.
