A new one-stop public state courts Internet portal allows users to search trial and appellate court cases, apply for marriage licenses, pay traffic tickets and take care of other court business.

The Division of State Court Administration launched the site Monday. The portal – public.courts.in.gov – also allows users to search protection orders, calculate child support, view trial court statistics and check the status of a lawyer’s license through the Indiana Roll of Attorneys.

The site also links to search options for registered mediators, adult guardianships and tools to calculate credit time for criminal sentences and a date calculator.
