Elkhart Circuit Judge Terry Shewmaker has been appointed to the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education, the Indiana Supreme Court announced in an order issued Monday.

Shewmaker, whose five-year term will begin Jan. 1, will replace Goshen attorney John Ulmer, who served two terms on the committee.

The court also reappointed Angela Freel, Howard Mzumara and Steven Spence to the 11-member commission charged with administering, developing and regulating CLE requirements for attorneys and judges.
