The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana is accepting comments on proposed changes to its local rules. The changes primarily update references to the national forms.

There are a few “housekeeping” edits to match the rules to actual practice, according to a notice from Clerk Kevin P. Dempsey. A few substantive changes are also proposed, particularly as to notice after confirmation in Chapter 13 cases and a briefing requirement for certain types of motions to dismiss adversary proceedings.

Comments are due Nov. 25 and may be emailed to [email protected].
