The United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana wants to know whether a magistrate judge should be reappointed to a new eight-year term.
The current term of Magistrate Judge Debra McVicker Lynch expires Oct. 23, 2016. The District Court is required by law to establish a panel of citizens to consider her reappointment to a new eight-year term. Comments from the bar and public on whether Lynch should be recommended for reappointment are due Jan. 4. Comments should be directed to Clerk Laura Briggs, Attn: Reappointment Panel, United States District Court, 46 E. Ohio St., Room 105, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
