The Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana named its 2016 officers and directors at its 22nd Annual Conference and Annual Meeting Nov. 19-20. The officers and directors will take office Jan. 1, 2016.
James W. Hehner of Hehner & Associates in Indianapolis was named the 49th president; Michele S. Bryant with Wooden & McLaughlin in Evansville was named president-elect; Robert B. Thornburg with Frost Brown Todd in Indianapolis was tapped to be vice-president; Renee Mortimer with Hinshaw & Culbertson in Schererville was named secretary of the association and will also assume the duties of DRI state representative for Indiana; and Donald S. Smith with Riley Bennett & Egloff in Indianapolis was elected treasurer. Thomas C. Hays of Lewis Wagner in Indianapolis will continue on the board as immediate past-president.
New to the board in 2016 will be Matthew King of Frost Brown Todd in Indianapolis and Elliott I. Pinkie with Cline Law Group in Indianapolis.
