The Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission brings charges against attorneys who have violated the state’s rules for admission to the bar and Rules of Professional Conduct. The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications brings charges against judges, judicial officers, or judicial candidates for misconduct. Details of attorneys’ and judges’ actions for which they are being disciplined by the Supreme Court will be included unless they are not a matter of public record under the court’s rules.

Suspension
Brent Welke, of Marion County, has been suspended for 30 days based on advertisements he placed in the Yellow Pages and on his website concerning debtor bankruptcy. The suspension begins Feb. 28 and he will automatically be reinstated, subject to the conditions of Admission and Discipline Rule 23(4)(c). The costs of the proceeding are assessed against him.
__________

Stephen W. Schuyler, of Madison County, has been suspended for noncooperation with the Disciplinary Commission in three disciplinary actions. He was already under suspension when the Jan. 8 order was issued. He must reimburse the commission $526.96 for the costs of prosecuting the proceedings.

Resignation
John M. Farrar Jr., of Marion County, resigned from the bar, effective Jan. 7. As a result, any attorney disciplinary proceedings against him are dismissed as moot. He must wait at least five years before petitioning for reinstatement. The costs of the proceeding are assessed against him.•
