The Indiana Board of Law Examiners has announced the list of candidates who passed the February bar exam. The BLE notes passage is only one of the requirements need to be admitted practice in Indiana, and no one is able to practice law until admitted.

The list of successful candidates can be found here.

A total of 258 people took the February exam, with 154 taking it for the first time. The overall pass rate was 51 percent, and 62 percent for first-time takers. The pass rate for repeat takers was 35 percent.

The overall bar passage rate of 51 percent was the lowest since the February 2002 bar exam.

A bar admission ceremony for eligible candidates will be held at 10 a.m. May 11 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis.
