Lawyers who practice before administrative law judges will be among those who testify this week before a General Assembly study committee that will consider reforms that could include establishment of administrative law panels.

The Interim Study Committee on Corrections and Criminal Code will meet Wednesday to hear staff reports and take testimony from stakeholders on central administrative law panels, which could transform the way various government agencies resolve disputes.

The committee chaired by Sen. Thomas Washburne, R-Evansville, will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Room 404 of the Statehouse. The meeting agenda is available online. Here is the meeting agenda.
