Marion Superior Court Probate Division has selected Melanie Kendrick to replace retired Magistrate J. Richard Turner.

Kendrick holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Wake Forest University. She is leaving her position as Title IX Coordinator at the University of Southern Indiana and was previously a public defender in Marion County practicing in juvenile delinquency, Adult Problem Solving Courts, and Probate Court. Kendrick will begin March 5, 2018.
