Two new members have been appointed to the Indiana State Board of Law Examiners as announced in an order signed Friday by Chief Justice Loretta Rush.

Jean M. Blanton was appointed to replace Barbara Brugnaux and Amy Noe Dudas will fill the seat being vacated by Gary Kemper. Both Brugnaux of Terre Haute and Kemper of Madison are wrapping up their second five-year terms and have served on the board since 2008.

Blanton is a partner at Ziemer, Stayman, Weitzel and Shoulders, LLP. She has served on the Evansville Bar Association Board of Directors and has been recognized as a Rising Star among Indiana young attorneys since 2009.

Dudas is the president of the Indiana Bar Foundation and serves on the board of the Indiana State Bar Association. She founded Dudas Law, formerly Amy Noe Law, in Richmond in 2010.

Both Blanton and Dudas will begin their terms Dec. 1. Their terms run through 2023.
