Suspensions
Adams County attorney Jill N. Holtzclaw was suspended from the practice of law effective immediately for noncooperation with the investigation of a grievance against her, per a Nov. 28 order. Holtzclaw was under prior suspensions related to a felony forgery charge for allegedly signing a judge’s name on a phony divorce order. Holtzclaw also is accused of sending emails to an expungement client’s widow posing as a deputy prosecutor. Holtzclaw is ordered to reimburse the disciplinary commission $513.34 for the costs of prosecuting the proceeding.
Porter County attorney Timothy E. Vojslavek was suspended effecitve immediately for noncooperaton with the investigation of a grievance, per a Nov. 28 order. The nature of the grievance was not specified, but the suspension was issued one day after Vojslavek was convicted in a bench trial in Porter County of a misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy after he was accused of violating a protective order. Per the order, Vojslavek is ordered to reimburse the commission $526.74, the cost of prosecuting the proceeding.•
