Criminal. Affirms Jasmine McCoy’s conviction of Class A misdemeanor battery, finding the evidence before Marion Superior Court was sufficient.

Kenneth Wayne Ellis v. State of Indiana (mem. dec.)
Criminal. Affirms Kenneth Ellis’ convictions of Level 5 felony battery by means of a deadly weapon and Class A misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury. The evidence presented in Marion Superior Court was sufficient.

In re the Termination of the Parent-Child Relationship of D.J.S.L. (Minor Child) and J.L. (Father) and S.B. (Mother) J.L. (Father) and S.B. (Mother) v. Indiana Department of Child Services (mem. dec.)
Juvenile termination of parental rights. Affirms the Tippecanoe Superior Court’s termination of father J.L. and mother S.B.’s parental rights to minor child D.J.S.L. The trial court did not err in determining termination is in the child’s best interests or in not appointing counsel for J.L.
