For more than 50 years, the Indianapolis Bar Foundation (IBF) has worked to ensure equal access to justice for all Indianapolis-area residents. In an effort to expand this mission impact on the greater Indianapolis community, applications from local organizations are now being accepted through May 31 for the IBF’s annual Impact Fund grant. The grant will be awarded in August 2019.

The IBF Impact Fund serves as an important vehicle to facilitate the financial generosity of members of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the local legal community. Through the Impact Fund, the IBF invests substantial funds and association member participation in support of a project presented by a non-profit organization that seeks to affect a significant positive impact in central Indiana. The grant is awarded annually.

The 2019 Impact Fund Grant will be awarded to a nonprofit organization that presents an initiative that encourages public education and understanding of the law, provides direct delivery of legal services or assists in ensuring the equal administration of justice. The grant is intended to fund a new venture or significant expansion of an existing service, and the grant must also present an opportunity for Indianapolis Bar Association members to support the initiative through pro bono or community service.
