The Indiana Supreme Court has appointed a new member to the State Board of Law Examiners and reappointed two others.

In a Thursday order, Brian A. Karle of Lafayette was appointed to serve a term commencing Dec. 1, and ending on Nov. 30, 2026, or when a successor is appointed. Karle will replace Scott B. Ainsworth, of Decatur, whose term will end Nov. 30.

Also, David R. Bolk of Terre Haute and Jane Ann Himsel of Indianapolis were both reappointed and will serve until 2026. Bolk, a former judge, is currently secretary for the board.

The State Board of Law Examiners, among other duties, is responsible for administering the bar examination to bar applicants, the certification of legal interns, and the formation and renewal of professional corporations, limited liability companies and limited liability partnerships for the legal profession.
