According to the July 16 order, attorney Christopher Bills was immediately suspended after he was found guilty of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a level 6 felony.
MyCase records show that Bills was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement and possession of marijuana in March 2025. In February 2026, Bills pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated as part of a plea agreement that dismissed his other charges.
He was sentenced to two years in county jail with one year suspended and one year of probation.
Bills’s interim suspension will continue until further order of the Indiana Supreme Court.
