In the role, Lyndsay Miller will lead the bank’s overall corporate legal function, compliance and enterprise-wide risk management.
“I’m thrilled to join the amazing team at Everwise,” said Miller in an email to Indiana Lawyer. “With its rich history and growth-oriented vision, Everwise truly stands out in the credit union industry. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to its success and excited to rejoin the credit union space.”
She joined the team in July after recently serving as assistant general counsel and corporate secretary at Federal Home Loan Bank in Indianapolis. There, Miller supported the bank’s board of directors, provided general legal counsel and managed key regulatory filings.
Miller brings 20 years of experience as an attorney in the financial services industry, previously serving as deputy director of the Consumer Credit Division at the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. She also served as general counsel for the state banking regulator and represented community financial institutions during her time in private practice.
“We’re pleased to have Lyndsay join the Everwise team,” said Jason M. Osterhage, President and CEO of Everwise. “Her wealth of experience in legal and regulatory roles, coupled with her expertise in risk management, make her an outstanding addition to our organization. Lyndsay’s forward-thinking approach and dedication to cultivating strong risk management practices complement our objectives. Her presence will undoubtedly enhance our commitment to serving our members and upholding rigorous compliance standards.”
