A Fishers-based attorney has been suspended from the practice of law for 60 days after she was convicted of operating a vehicle while intoxicated in June 2024.

Cherie Ramage’s suspension is effective immediately, with a 30-day suspension to be actively served and the remainder stayed subject to completing at least two years of probation with continued monitoring by the Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program.

Ramage pleaded guilty last June after the OWI arrest in October 2023. As part of her plea agreement, she will receive alternate misdemeanor sentencing if she completes her criminal probation.

Ramage was previously convicted of misdemeanor OWI in 2021.

She has been under interim suspension since November 2024 because of her current conviction, which she allegedly did not report to the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission. She has no prior discipline and has been cooperative with the disciplinary process, including seeking assistance with JLAP.

Ramage’s probation is in effect until it’s terminated under Admission and Discipline Rule 23(16).

She must also pay around $261 for the cost of the proceedings.

The case is In the Matter of Cherie Ramage, 25S-DI-00058.
