Applications are open for upcoming superior court vacancies in Howard and Vanderburgh counties.

Judge Brant Parry will resign from Howard Superior Court II effective Dec. 31, while Judge Brett Niemeier will resign from the Vanderburgh Superior Court effective Sept. 2. Gov. Eric Holcomb is now accepting applications for both vacancies, which are due by 5 p.m. Monday, July 24.

Parry was appointed to the bench by Gov. Mitch Daniels in February 2011. Niemeier was elected in 2000.
