Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb is accepting applications for a judicial opening in the Hamilton Circuit Court to succeed Judge Paul Felix, who has been appointed to the Court of Appeals of Indiana.

Felix, who fills the vacancy left by the recently retired Senior Judge Margret Robb, had been a judge in the circuit court since 2009.

Qualified applicants to succeed Felix should complete and submit the judicial application by no later than 5 p.m. Aug. 17.

Applications should be sent to the Governor’s Office, preferably via email, at [email protected], or alternatively by hard copy to Governor’s Office, ATTN: Joseph R. Heerens, State House Room 206, 200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, 46204.

Applications will include a statement of interest and writing samples, a summary of trial and judicial experience, a description of legal and community service efforts, and attorneys who have been professional adversaries as references, among other information.
