Indy lawyers reappointed to Public Defender Commission, including commission chair

Two Indianapolis attorneys have been reappointed by Gov. Eric Holcomb to sit on the Indiana Public Defender Commission.

Holcomb last week reappointed David Hensel, a partner with Hoover Hull Turner LLP, and Mark Rutherford, a shareholder with Thrasher Buschmann & Voelkel P.C., to their positions on the 11-member commission. Rutherford currently serves as commission chair.

Both Hensel and Rutherford will serve until Oct. 31, 2025.
