Two new judges have been certified as senior judges while 65 existing senior judges have been recertified for 2024.
Indiana Chief Justice Loretta Rush, as chair of the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission, issued orders this month certifying Judge Dean A. Sobecki of Daviess Superior Court and Magistrate Judge Eleanor K. Finnell of the Marion Circuit Court as senior judges.
Also, in two separate orders, a group of 62 senior judges were recertified, as were a group of three senior judges: Jeanene Calabrese, Stephen Galvin and William Weikert.
All 67 senior judges will serve terms running from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2024.
