Charles Wallace faces at least 20 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines for his charges, according to court documents.
Wallace was convicted on one count of Class A felony child molesting, with a sentencing range of 20 to 50 years in prison, and four counts of Class C felony child molesting, with a sentencing range of two to eight years in prison.
He was arrested in March 2018 after two victims came forward recounting the abuse they received from Wallace, court documents state.
“We must protect those who cannot protect themselves,” said Delaware County Prosecuting Attorney Eric Hoffman. “It is very fitting that a jury composed of 12 members of the community found this defendant guilty in April – Child Abuse Prevention Month.”
Wallace is scheduled for sentencing June 9 by Delaware Circuit Judge Douglas Mawhorr.
