Why did you decide to become a paralegal/legal support staffer?
I find satisfaction in organizing, problem solving and ensuring all pieces come together.

If you weren’t working in legal support, what would you be doing?
I have always wanted to be an event planner because I enjoy being creative, working with people and adapting to new situations.

What makes a good paralegal/legal support staffer?
A good legal support staffer has a strong work ethic, and is dependable,  flexible and a good communicator.

What makes a good lawyer?
A good lawyer communicates clearly and also has good time management and organization skills along with a strong knowledge of the laws.

What’s something people might not know about the legal support profession?
Most days are very fast paced.

What would you say to someone who is considering a career in legal support?
It’s a career that can be highly rewarding, offering opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Tell us about a “lesson learned” moment in your career.
Don’t sweat the small stuff and it’s all small stuff!

Tell us something surprising about yourself.
I raise monarch butterflies. I plant their host plant which is milk weed.  Then, when they come through and lay their eggs I manually collect and keep the eggs safe in enclosures until they eclose.
