Volunteers will go over flood-specific civil issues, insurance claims and denials, how to avoid predatory contractors, apply for government assistance and replace government-issued documents as well as vehicle and property recovery, according to the bar association. Other topics covered will include resolving lease issues.
Attendees also can get help from the One More Food Pantry which will take place at the same time.
The clinic will run from 9 am to noon at the Church at the Crossing on 9111 Haverstick Road in Indianapolis. No registration is required.
Organizers say they will only take questions related to the recent flooding.
