The Indiana Supreme Court has revoked a judge pro tempore appointment following a judge’s return to the bench.

In December 2023, Senior Judge John G. Baker was appointed to serve as judge pro tempore in Montgomery Superior Court 1 due to Judge Heather L. Barajas taking a medical leave of absence.

Barajas has notified the high court that she is prepared to return from leave and resume her duties as judge.

Baker’s appointment will end effective Feb. 24 and Barajas will resume her duties.
