Attorneys who'd like to be admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court have until Feb. 19 to submit their applications to the Indiana State Bar Association.

Admission applications and instructions can be found the state bar's Web site. Applicants are typically approved, but pending or completed disciplinary actions may cause the Supreme Court justices to deny or delay an application.

The cost to apply is $200, plus approximately $40 for a group picture and breakfast in one of the Supreme Court dining rooms. The next group swearing in for Indiana attorneys is March 22; the group will observe an argument before the high court that day.

For more information, visit the state bar's Web site or contact Susan Jacobs at (800) 266-2581.
