U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Walton Pratt and Indiana Supreme Court Justice Frank Sullivan were recently appointed to co-chair an Indianapolis Bar Association task force to address diversity within the Indianapolis legal community. Agreeing to facilitate discussion on behalf of the chairs was James Dimos a partner at Frost Brown Todd and a past president of the Indianapolis Bar Association.

“For many years our bar has organized a variety of activities to enhance the diversity within our local professional community, including the Diversity Job Fair. This task force has been created to harness the energy of those efforts while addressing the short-term and the long-term needs,” said Mike Hebenstreit, IndyBar President.

Currently, the IndyBar is seeking volunteers interested in participating in the task force effort. Any IndyBar interested member should contact IndyBar Executive Director Julie Armstrong at [email protected]. Task Force appointments, which will be made by June 15, are limited to twenty-five and will be made by the IndyBar President.•
